The National Motor Museum Trust will be at Goodwood from Thursday 26th to Sunday 29th June.
Yet again we will have quite a presence, with cars in the Paddock, on the Cartier lawn, and on display on our stand at 170 – 171.
In the Paddock you will see the iconic Sunbeam 350 hp, the Land Speed Record breaker famously driven by Sir Malcolm Campbell, and run for the first time in 50 years earlier this year.
Also in the Paddock will be the 1950 BRM 1.5 litre V16 Type 15 Mk1. The BRM will be the focus of this year’s charity collection at Goodwood Revival in September of this year. While this car has been seen running at Goodwood several times over the last few years, it is now in need of urgent work if this is to continue.
On the Cartier Lawn you can see our beautiful 1928 Mercedes 36/220, previously owned by actor Peter Ustinov.
And when you visit the stand you will see the unique and quite amazing 1929 Bolster Special, the ‘Bloody Mary’ alongside the race winning 1981 Ford Escort RS Rally car driven to success by Ari Vatanen, winner of the 1981 World Rally Championship.
On the stand we will also have a selection of light refreshments, soft drinks and perhaps best of all, a chance to rest your feet!
We look forward to seeing you there.
